Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Grammar is a rising hip hop artist whose music blends raw storytelling with a unique, introspective style. A key member of the DMV-based rap group Crown Diamonds, Grammar’s trajectory was interrupted in 2010 when he was sentenced to prison for drug distribution and firearm possession. After serving three years, he returned stronger, releasing the attention-grabbing track "Ol Thang Back" on SoundCloud in 2013—a bold reimagining of OutKast’s "2 Dope Boyz In A Cadillac."

Since his return, Grammar has captivated fans with his personal approach to music. Drawing inspiration from icons like Tupak, Big L, OutKast, Mac Miller, and classic boom-bap, he fuses these influences with his own life experiences to create a sound that is both familiar and fresh.
